2011/10/10 - Week 8: Growth tracking

We have now spent ~2 months with our extremely adorable baby Jacob.  It has truly been amazing and satisfying for us as parents!  Even though it's never easy caring for a baby, a simple smile from the little one can instantaneously make up for all the hard work.  Thanks to Mom's great care, Jacob has been growing very well! Jacob's doctor told us that he is tracking the growth chart closely (5.74 kg) and is even a bit lengthier (61.5 cm) than most babies at the same age.  For this, we gave special thanks to God at our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday.  We thanked God wholeheartedly for trusting us with this precious gift and for giving us the love and wisdom to care for him.  We also prayed that God will continue to guide Jacob on his long life journey ahead and bless our new family!  As usual, we look forward to updating you with our new adventure with Jacob.
